D i v i n e   I l l u s i o n   R u l e s   a n d   R e g u l a t i o n s Application of the Rules and Regulations By accessing the game you are confirming your acceptance of the Rules and Regulations of the game. Users must comply with the Rules and Regulations at all times. Amendments to Rules and Regulations The operator reserves the right to amend or supplement the Rules and Regulations in the future. Users shall receive notification of any amendments of or supplements to these Rules and Regulations either by in-game announcements or by email. The amended or supplemented Rules and Regulations shall be taken in immediate effect after a user accesses the game following receipt of the notification. General Gameplay Users are expected to behave in a proper and respectable manner. Users must respect the rights of other players and should not defraud, threaten, harass, or cause distress or unwanted attention to any other player. Users may not distribute out any personal or real life information about another player without that players express consent. Users may not use, post, or link to any sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive language, imagery or content within the game and its associated messaging systems. Cheating Users may not gain an unfair advantage over other players by inappropriate means. This includes: • Using browser automations, scripts or scripting programs • Allowing third parties access to your accounts • Attempting to gain access to another users account • Exploiting bugs in the game • Passing items, money, information or any other game object between accounts owned by you • Using accounts for money/item laundering • Selling or passing on accounts to third parties If a bug is discovered in the game then is the users duty to immediately notify one of the game developers. Forums and Messaging The forums are separated into three distinct forums. Users are required to post topics only in the relevant forum for their post. Repeated postings of the same topic on the forums or by multiple postings in the in-game messaging system is considered spam and is prohibited. Users may not use, post, or link to any sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, distressing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive language, imagery or content one the game forums or the in-game messaging system. Users may not use the forums or in-game messaging system to advertise other games or internet sites. Character Profiles Users may not use, post, or link to any sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive language, imagery or content within their character profile. Users must ensure that content posted on their character profile does not contain logos, trademarks or other copyrighted material without the express written consent of the owner. Multiple Accounts Users are allowed multiple accounts as long as the following conditions are followed. • The accounts are played as separate entities. • Items or currency are not passed through, or to each account. • The accounts are not in the same guild. • None of the accounts may gamble with, or purchase items from an other account or their properties • A user may only transfer divine coins purchased by them with real money between the accounts. If you do not follow the conditions mentioned above your account(s) may be subject to a permanent ban or an instant death. Divine Coins ## You can't purchase Divine Coins yet so I've got more time to write the rules and regulations for them! :) ## Accounts Upon registration the user agrees to provide only truthful information. Incorrect information or details must be immediately corrected. The email address provided for an account has to be a valid and active email account belonging to the user. If the personal data of a user changes the user must update these changes with immediate effect. The account is for the sole use of the user only. The user may not pass their account or password on to a third party. If a third party acquires access information for the account the user is responsible for changing their password immediately. The user is responsible for preventing his/her account from being used by anyone but themselves. The account name chosen by the user may not be obscene, offensive or liable to cause distress to other players. Termination of Accounts The operator reserves the right to terminate a users account(s) if any of the Rules and Regulations have been broken by that user. If a users account has been terminated all items belonging to that account no longer belong the the user and may be removed from the game. If a users account has been terminated because of a permanent ban the user may not create a new account on the game. Provision of Service To access the Game the user must have a fully registered Account, a valid browser and have an Internet connection (which we do not provide or pay for). It is the users responsibility for paying all applicable taxes and fees (including those we are not required to collect) and for all hardware, software, service and other costs you incur to access the game. The operator cannot and does not guarantee uninterrupted connectivity to the game. Data Protection The operator agrees not to give or sell any of your personal information, including your name and email address, to any external web sites or non-game personnel without your permission. However, the operator does not control the information that you provide to any external sites that link to DivineIllusion.net. Please see the terms and conditions on their respective web pages. DivineIllusion.net uses cookies for game-session tracking only, and this information is used solely by the game. Compliance with Law Enforcement Agencies The operator may be forced to disclose information to the government, law enforcement agencies or third parties under certain circumstances. The operator may disclose any information about you to private entities, law enforcement or other government officials if the operator believes necessary or appropriate to investigate or resolve possible problems or inquiries. Communication From Operators The operator reserves the right to communicate to users via email and any similar technology for any purpose relating to the Game and any services or software which may in the future be provided by us or on our behalf.
